Newborn Photography

Life style newborn photography is truly the most precious and beautiful to shoot. It’s very intimate and personal and you have to get those angels that look like it’s a moment frozen in time - as though the viewer is secretly you, and not me,  the photographer. 

The mom and I chatted a bit over email, but that was it. Until the day little one arrived and I was called to schedule a session. I was talking to a friend recently about my work…family photography…I spoke about this session. I get to their home, I’m a stranger, I decide there what lens to use (but usually I have an idea), but not only the craft and technicality of a photographer - I need to do my job, and make them feel comfortable to take these intimate portraits. I’m so thrilled that these families trust me enough. Mom said I could share these photos - and in her own words…”Oh my gosh these are so amazing! I am beyond thrilled with them- everything I hoped for! It was hard to choose a selected few…But, here’s to a new life for a new year.
